Marcie Edwards: A Leader in Public Service and Strategic Development
Marcie Edwards has a distinguished career in public service, having served as the General Manager for two municipal agencies: Anaheim Public Utilities and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. In addition, she held the position of City Manager for the city of Anaheim.
Currently, Marcie holds several board positions. She is a member of the Commercial Media and Community Trust Board (ticker CMCT), a publicly traded real estate investment trust, and the Board of S&C Electric Products in Chicago. She carries Audit Committee responsibilities for both organizations. Marcie also contributes to her local community by serving on the Boys and Girls Club Board and two advisory councils: one for SoCal Gas safety and another for a beta renewable firm.
Marcie’s past roles include Chair of California’s Wildfire Safety Board, Director of the Metropolitan Water District, and Governor on the California Independent System Operator Board. She has also provided interim executive director services to the New Orleans Sewerage and Water Board, and the California Independent System Operator during their CEO search periods.
